Welcome to IYA!
The Universe is a big place and there are many astronomy education sites out there so we have highlighted a few sites below as some great places to start. We are still working hard behind the scenes and will have more information to add soon.
- The Education Pages of the Astronomical Society of the Pacific have a lot of information about projects and activities teachers can get involved with and resource guides for materials they can use in the classroom:

The Southwestern Consortium of Observatories for Public Education (SCOPE) has for the International Year of Astronomy that contains activities and resources on the back for grades K-12
